Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
Short version: O'Blocks stores your scores and settings on your device. It uses Google AdMob to show ads, which may collect device and advertising identifiers. We do not create accounts or sell your personal information.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game O'Blocks (package name com.app.oblocks) handles information when you use the app on Android.
Information stored on your device
To run the game, O'Blocks saves limited data locally using Android on-device storage (SharedPreferences), including:
- High scores and in-progress game snapshots
- Sound, haptics, theme, and other gameplay preferences
- Whether tip overlays have been shown
- A count of finished games (used to decide when ads may appear)
This gameplay data is not uploaded to our own servers. Uninstalling the app removes it from the device, subject to any Android backup/restore settings you have enabled.
Advertising
O'Blocks displays advertisements through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. Ads may appear after you finish games (once a free allowance is used) and as optional rewarded ads (for example, for extra undos).
Google and its partners may collect or process information such as:
- Advertising ID and similar device identifiers
- IP address and general device/network information
- Ad interaction and performance data
- Approximate location derived from IP address, where applicable
This processing is governed by Google’s policies. Learn more at Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in AdMob apps.
You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your Android device settings. Availability of those controls depends on your device and OS version.
Internet access
O'Blocks requests internet permission primarily to load and display ads. Core puzzle gameplay itself does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Permissions
Depending on your device and OS version, the app may use:
- Internet — to fetch ads
- Vibrate — for optional haptic feedback
- Advertising ID (AD_ID) — for personalized or non-personalized advertising via AdMob
Analytics and accounts
O'Blocks does not provide user accounts, social login, or in-app messaging. Aside from advertising SDKs described above, the current version does not include a separate first-party analytics or crash-reporting service operated by us.
Children’s privacy
O'Blocks is a casual puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own use. Advertising partners may still process device-level data as described above. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through advertising partners in a way that concerns you, please contact us and review Google’s parental controls and ad settings.
Data sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by Google and advertising partners solely as needed to deliver ads and related services inside the app.
Data retention
Local game data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app (and any backups you keep). Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
